Kiwi North is CLOSED
Monday 23 March
Kiwi North will be closed to the public until further notice as per today's announcement from the government. We want to protect our community and support the efforts across Aotearoa to reduce the risk of Covid-19 and this is all of our part to play. As the situation unfolds all updates can be found on our social media.
In the meantime, our little resident treasures in the Kiwi House will be well cared for by the team and we will share what they get up to during this time. We'll also be sharing tid-bits from our collections and their stories because now more than ever we need to remember what our community is made of.
Stay safe and look after one another. From the team at Kiwi North
Saturday 21 March
CLOSED UNTIL MONDAY 23rd.
Apologies everyone but due to low visitation and to give our team some personal time we are closing for the weekend.
Arohanui from all at Kiwi North.
Monday 16 March
Kiwi North is open to visit. We are following Ministry of Health guidelines for coronavirus and the risk for New Zealanders remains low. We will adhere to these guidelines and ask that our visitors do the same so we can make sure our spaces are safe and welcoming for everyone. If you are feeling unwell- please stay home and look after yourself. These are testing times for all communities but our kiwi spirit will get us through.
Here at Kiwi North we are doing our best to keep all our guests and own our team and whanau safe. All contact points such as eftpos machines, lift buttons, door handles, etc are wiped down regularly. Please help us by playing your part - wherever you go wash your hands often, dry them properly, use the santizer and tissues provided and/or carry your own.
BEFORE YOU VISIT
PLEASE use the hand sanitiser provided
If you are feeling unwell- PLEASE consider coming back to visit when you are healthy
If you have been overseas in the last 2 weeks PLEASE follow self-isolation guidelines as instructed by the NZ Government
These steps are to reduce the risk for all of our visitors, our staff and our community.
Thank you and enjoy your visit!
